In March ’22 the first song for Scarlet Mill’s as yet untitled second album, Port Henry, was released. This up-tempo indie-glamrock song, grooving on Hammond and Slide, tells that part of the album’s tale where the male main character has boarded his ship to sail to Port Henry, in a remorseful attempt to escape from the unforgivable pain he has inflicted upon his great love. Heavy stuff for a straight rock song! Like our first album Chronicles, Port Henry was recorded in our home studio at the North Sea Shallows Coast.
